Ivy Kombo’s Husband Dragged To Court Over Fraud
Controversial preacher and gospel singer Ivy Kombo’s husband Admire Kasi was dragged to court over an old fraud case.
Pastor Kasi as he is popularly known, was scheduled to appear before the Harare magistrates courts Monday morning.
The Herald reports that Kasi was in court representing his real estate company, Adsa Real Estate, which was charged with fraud.
Kasi was not being charged in his personal capacity.
The court heard that sometime in 2012, Priscilla Moyo saw an advert in a local newspaper that indicated Adsa Real Estate was selling a stand in Bluffhill, Harare.
Moyo paid a total of Z$1 495 537 in threeinstallments for which she was given receipts.
After paying the full purchase price, Moyo who was then based in Botswana, gave his brother Kennedy power of attorney to sign the agreement of sale which was done on February 25.
On March 18, Moyo paid the balance of Z$580 000 to Adsa Real Estate’s secretary and was issued with a receipt.
Although she did not develop the land she was in for a shock when someone else was developing the land. She then made a report to the police
