Charlie Black returns to Zim

Jamaican dancehall superstar, Charly Black, makes a return to the capital for a second performance slated for Long Cheng Plaza this Saturday.

The Party Animal singer who is expected to arrive in the country on Friday evening had his maiden performance in the country in 2015 at the same shopping complex in the garden arena.

This time around he will perform in the gigantic Club 1 + 1 using backtracks.

What makes this particular show more interesting is that Charlie has made more hits and become a bigger dancehall brand around the globe than he was three years ago when he last visited the country.

Werras Entertainment and David House are behind the show.

In an interview with H-Metro, one of the show coordinators Vokal, said:

“Yes Charlie Black is coming back to Zimbabwe for a show on June 2 at Club 1+1.

“Charlie will perform in Kenya first then head to Zimbabwe and we expect him to perform for nothing less than an hour and a half on back tracks since he is travelling with his deejay.”

Zim dancehall stars Soul Jah Love and Nutty O will be the supporting acts the potentially exciting bash that also features an array of top wheel-spinners.

Judgement Yard, Rax, Raydizz, Rawse, The Family deejays-Selekta Base, Fujee, Snizzle, MC Cut, C Skills, Burtla, Bodyslam Family, DJ Iroq, Mr Sincleer, Da Shocker, Simba Tagz and host emcee Abisha Palmer are all on the line up of entertainers.

The show has limited early bird tickets which are going for $10 but ordinary entry tickets are selling at $15, VIP $30 and VVIP $50.
